Lincoln City midfielder Alex Woodyard says squad needs to 'raise our game' for old club Braintree



Alex Woodyard says victory over his old club Braintree on Saturday is a must for City's players - but they'll only get it if they try harder.
The 23-year-old made 44 appearances for Braintree last season, having spent the season before that playing under Danny Cowley at Concord Rangers, and said he was excited about the prospect of facing the Essex side at Sincil Bank.
However in the wake of the dismal 2-0 defeat at Dover on Saturday, he said the whole squad need to raise their intensity if they are to get back to winning ways and end their three-game skid in Vanarama National League.
