Lifeboat crew rescue divers after boat breaks down
 

Hoylake lifeboat crew was called out to rescue a group of divers after their boat broke down this morning.
The four divers called the coastguard after their boat’s engine failed near the Mersey Bar.
The volunteer crew from Hoylake launched the lifeboat shortly after 10am, following a request from the coastguard.
The lifeboat towed the dive boat, called Argo, back to New Brighton beach by 12.30pm.
