Lewis Hamilton will fight to the end and 'needs the enemy' in title run-in, claims Toto Wolff



Lewis Hamilton received the backing of both his own team boss and that of Mercedes’ closest rivals in the wake of his latest disappointment.
His battle to cling on to the world title for a third straight year was almost over as the Briton hastily left Japan on Sunday afternoon.
His sluggish start to the race at Suzuka left team-mate Nico Rosberg with the simplest of tasks to claim a fourth win in five and extend his championship lead to 33 points.
