Lewis Hamilton’s hopes of winning the 2016 F1 drivers’ world championship look bleaker than ever – and the Briton has taken the blame for the latest setback.
After qualifying in second 0.013 secobds behind Mercedes team-mate and title rival Nico Rosberg, Hamilton had an absolute shocker off the line on a damp track at the Japanese Grand Prix.
Desperate to reel in the man leading the title standings, Hamilton saw six cars get in between him and Rosberg by the time he reached the first corner.
