Lewis Hamilton storms to pole in Malaysia ahead of Nico Rosberg in second place



Lewis Hamilton comfortably beat Nico Rosberg in qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix to claim his eighth pole position of the season.
Hamilton was in a class of his own at Sepang, trouncing the German by nearly half a second.
Rosberg has won the last three races to hold an eight-point lead over the Briton, but Hamilton is now perfectly placed to shift the momentum in their world title scrap back his way.
Rosberg made several errors late on but still had enough in hand to claim second on the grid.
