Lewis Hamilton ‘avoided’ tax with scheme to rent out private jet
 

Lewis Hamilton allegedly got a £3.7 million VAT refund from a scheme to ‘rent out’ his private jet, leaked documents appear to show. 
The world champion Formula One star seems to had a refund through a scheme that is currently being investigated by HM Customs and Excise.
According to the so-called ‘Paradise Papers’, Hamilton, 32, bought a £16 million Bombardier CL605 Challenger in 2013 through a series of offshore companies domiciled in the British Virgin Islands, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
