Lewis Hamilton admits abysmal start to Japanese Grand Prix was his fault due to too much wheel spin

Lewis Hamilton admitted he ‘made a mistake’ after his slow start handed Nico Rosberg victory at the Japanese Grand Prix.
Starting from second on the grid, Hamilton crawled off the line, getting swallowed up by several cars to lie eighth at the end of the first lap.
On arriving at his grid slot before the race, Hamilton appeared concerned by a damp patch on the tarmac, the result of overnight rain at Suzuka. But the Briton insisted that had no adverse effect.
