Lenton man denies sex attack and assault on woman
 

A man on trial for sexually assaulting a woman said the allegation was "preposterous" in his evidence today.
Speaking to a jury at his trial, Sean Bowers, 36, of Penn Avenue, Lenton, denied the incident happened.
He is said by the prosecution to have pinned the victim down and tried to remove a piece of clothing.

But Bowers insisted the alleged crime did not happen and told his barrister, Pree Brada, today: "No, I'd never do that kind of thing".
