Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust boss receives 65 per cent pay rise



The chairman of the NHS organisation which runs mental and community health services has received a pay rise of more than 60 per cent.
Figures published by the Health Service Journal showed ministerial approval was given at the start of September last year to increase the pay of the chairman of the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust from £21,105 to £35,000.
This represented an increase of just over 65 per cent for the chairman, Cathy Ellis. Her predecessor, Professor David Chiddick, was on a salary band of £20,000 to £25,000.
