Leicestershire farmer killed in Bungay plane crash in Suffolk



A farmer and popular military history enthusiast has been killed in a plane crash.
John Marshall, of Yew Tree Farm, in Willoughby Waterleys, near Countesthorpe, died when the P-51 Mustang he was a passenger in came down in a field in Suffolk.
Mr Marshall, who was in his 80s, died at the scene.
The pilot, Maurice Hammond, from Eye in Suffolk, was seriously injured and underwent surgery at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
His condition is not known.
