Leicester's multi-million pound regeneration schemes to be visited by top heritage bosses



The Government's principal advisers on the historic environment will visit the city today to examine a number of restoration and heritage projects including Leicester Cathedral and the King Richard III Visitor Centre.
Historic England's commissioners, chairman Sir Laurie Magnus and chief executive Duncan Wilson, will be welcomed by City Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby today (TUES) and will view a number of projects such as Friars Mill, Leicester Castle, the University of Leicester's Engineering Building.
