Leeds United dismiss Massimo Cellino undercover sting as a ‘non-story’
 

Leeds United’s owner Massimo Cellino has been caught up in an undercover sting and offered a fake company a 20% share in his club in return for 20% of his players’ sell-on fees.
Third-party ownership of players is banned by the Football Association and FIFA, but Cellino was caught on camera explaining how potential investors could work around the current rules.
In a statement issued shortly after midnight, Leeds described the allegations relating to Cellino as a ‘non-story’.
