Leaves on the line? Daily multicolour tweet to tell commuters when they're going to fall

Commuters in and out of Lincoln are to get a daily leaf forecast - to tell them when trains could be delayed.
The old joke about leaves on the line causing delays may have a ring of truth about it.
Northern Rail, which operates the Lincoln to service has come up with a novel way to keep passengers on track.

It will offer a daily leaf fall forecast on its Twitter feed, @northernassist, using a four-colour system to measure how likely it is trains will be delayed.
