Least wanted: owners put these cats and dogs on the 'blacklist' but maybe you can help

These unhappy animals have plenty of love to give, but they’re struggling to find owners — because they aren’t “pretty” enough.
Vicky Withers, from Helping Pets North East, says many of the animals still staying with the shelter are rejected because of their looks, while others have personality traits which make them a bit more of a handful.
A cluster of kittens rescued by the group will all struggle to find homes, according to Vicky, because their fur is black or black and white.
