Landlords drop legal action against Bank of Ireland over 2013 tracker mortgage rate hike - with borrowers are told to sue solicitors instead



The landlord action group that won £27.5million after suing West Bromwich over unfairly raising its tracker mortgage rates has been forced to drop a similar action against Bank of Ireland.
Following its win against West Brom earlier this year, the Property 118 action group said it had hoped to bring a case against Bank of Ireland, which hiked tracker rates for 13,500 buy-to-let and residential base rate tracker mortgage customers in February 2013.
