Landlord's upset at Albert Marson Court development plans



MOST publicans would be over the moon if a new housing estate was to be built alongside their business.
But a £3.5 million investment by Ongo Homes in rebuilding the Albert Marson Court complex has left Steve Glentworth, owner of Glenny's Bar in Scunthorpe, with mixed feelings.
For he claims the housing association will use most of the pub's car park off Fairmont Crescent, as well as grassed areas off Cottage Beck Road, to make way for 27 new homes.
