Landlady who banned assistance dogs from pub carvery, overwhelmed by locals' support



The landlady of a pub, ordered to pay compensation after banning assistance dogs from its carvery, has been left overwhelmed by the support she has received from locals.
Residents on Llanfairfechan have clubbed together to raise £600 towards the £2,000 compensation levied against The Village Inn after it refused to allow assistance dogs into its carvery.
But Roberta Roberts said in a post on Facebook that while she was grateful for the money, she would be giving the cash to local schools.
