Lancaster park and woodland in safe hands



A new group tasked with looking after and improving a city woodland will be hosting a consultation event next month.
The Friends of Dorrington Woods and Play Park was set up by Green Party City Coun Abi Mills, and held its first Annual General Meeting in September.
In the last year, the group has already carried out three successful litter picks and worked with the council to have a bin installed.
The paths have been improved, and the gate to the park has been mended.
