Lanark Amateur Swimming Club finish third at the Scottish Team Championships
 

Four Lanark Amateur Swimming Club athletes were part of a South Lanarkshire team that finished an excellent third at the Scottish Team Championships at Glasgow’s Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
The competition is for swimmers who are 16 years old and under.
Mark Ford (13) had a superb swim in the 16-years and under 50m backstroke to finish second in a new West District record time of 28.58 seconds, breaking a 13-year-old record.
Mitchell Stevenson broke Jack McComish’s Lanark ASC 200m butterfly record when he finished third in a time of 2.13.44.
