Labour group criticises new £144,000 a year North Lincolnshire Council management appointment



The Labour group on North Lincolnshire Council has criticised the appointment of a Head of Service from within the authority who is set to be paid £144,000.
The council announced an £850,000 shake up a few weeks ago with the chief executive and three directors being replaced by a people and transformation director - also known as head of paid service - and a commercial director.
Labour have criticised the salary of the position saying that they are paying the new director "salary which is more than the Prime Minister, and considerably more than the retiring Chief Executive".... read more
