Labour councillor David Fagan suspended by party after being arrested over child porn rap
 

A LABOUR councillor at the centre of a police probe into child pornography has been suspended from the party.
David Fagan is due to appear in court on Thursday charged with possessing indecent images of children.
The 52-year-old was arrested at his Airdrie home last month but the offences are alleged to have taken place in June.
Fagan has been a member for North Lanarkshire Council since 2003 and represents the Airdrie South ward for Scottish Labour.
But a party spokesman said last night: “We can confirm that he has been suspended from Scottish Labour.”
