Labour Chief Whip Nick Brown explains why he is defending Jeremy Corbyn's many rebellions
 

The North East MP responsible for enforcing discipline in Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party has said Mr Corbyn showed “strength of character” in repeated rebellions against previous leaders.
Newcastle East MP Nick Brown , Labour’s new Chief Whip, also praised Mr Corbyn’s “personal decency”.
And he said he believed Mr Corbyn could become Prime Minister.
Mr Brown was appointed Shadow Chief Whip in Mr Corbyn’s Shadow Cabinet earlier this month.
