Kyle Edmund goes down fighting at Shanghai Masters as Stan Wawrinka hails Brit's improvement

Kyle Edmund could do little to combat the big hitting of Stan Wawrinka as the Brit bowed out in the second round of the Shanghai Rolex Masters.
US Open champion Wawrinka had pulled out of last week's Japan Open with a bad back but showed no sign of any ill effects in his 6-3, 6-4 victory on Wednesday.
This was the first time that Wawrinka had played Edmund and the experienced Swiss has taken notice of the 21-year-old's improved game, believing there is more to come.
