Kodi court case: Firm to pay almost £8,000 for using box to show Boro matches at pub
 

A firm’s been ordered to pay almost £8,000 after a popular matchday pub was caught streaming Boro matches through a Kodi box.
Bosses at The Navigation Inn were hauled to court after a series of stings revealed they were streaming Sky TV through their Android Box.
Inspectors visited the pub as fans watched crunch clashes last season, including the Brighton and QPR games during the promotion push.
The pub’s owner thought he hadn’t done anything wrong - as he didn’t think the games were being streamed live.
