Classy Kilwinning eased into the second round of the West of Scotland cup after a largely one-sided clash against Premier rivals Arthurlie.
First half strikes from Ian Cashmore and Calvin Kemp put the Abbey Park side in control before Bryan Boylan added a third after the break to put the tie beyond the visitors' reach.
Arthurlie played the last half hour with 10-men after defender Craig Palmer was shown a straight red card for a petulant display of dissent.
But the simple truth is that the Barrhead outfit were a distant second best for most of the afternoon.
