Kilmarnock FC director Russel Smith resigns from position on the board
 

Russel Smith has resigned as a director of Kilmarnock FC .
The latest twist in the Killie saga comes in another week of off-field drama at Rugby Park.
Lifelong Kilmarnock fan Smith was one of the original board members following the debt re-contruction deal in March 2014.
Along with Billy Bowie, Michael Johnston, David Moran and Jim Mann, he was part of the five-man board formed after the club’s debt was cleared.
But now, over two–and–a–half years later, only Bowie and Johnston remain on the board with John Kiltie, who joined in early 2015.
