Kei Nishikori beats Stan Wawrinka in 67 minutes at ATP World Tour Finals



Kei Nishikori opened his ATP World Tour Finals campaign on Monday with an impressive straight-sets win over US Open champion Stan Wawrinka.
The Japanese world No 5 took full advantage of the subdued state of his Swiss opponent, easing to a 6-2, 6-3 victory in just 67 minutes at The O2.
Nishikori said: 'Today I think I as very solid from the first game and I was very confident.
'It wasn't easy against Stan. He hits a lot of slice and he mixed up a lot of shots. I tried to play solid and I thought I played a good match today.'
