Judge halts trial of couple accused of sex acts in front of schoolboy
 

A judge has halted the trial of a Cumbrian couple accused of committing sex acts in front of a schoolboy.
A jury at Carlisle Crown Court heard earlier this week that the alleged 15-year-old victim was in the bedroom of a house near Workington with the couple on a day in July of last year when the first offence happened.
The second similar offence happened just two days later, said the prosecution.
The couple – who are in their 20s but can not be named for legal reasons – denied that any sex acts happened.
