Jose Mourinho explains why David De Gea was benched for Manchester United’s Europa League tie
 

Jose Mourinho insists Sergio Romero ‘deserves’ to start ahead of David De Gea for Manchester United’s Europa League clash with Zorya.
The Spaniard surprisingly started ahead of the Argentine for United’s defeat to Feyenoord earlier this month, but Romero was picked for the victory over Northampton in the EFL Cup.
Romero got the nod for United’s second Europa League clash against the Ukrainian club and Mourinho insists the 29-year-old warrants more game time.
