Jonjo O'Neill saddles the 2000th winner of his career at Uttoxeter



Jonjo O'Neill claimed his 2,000th British jumps winner as a trainer when Centuro secured a dramatic victory in the Shottle Hall Juvenile Maiden Hurdle at Uttoxeter.
Winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup as a trainer and jockey, O'Neill sent just one horse to the Staffordshire circuit, with Centuro a 7-2 chance after finishing well-beaten on his hurdling debut at Ludlow just eight days ago.
The three-year-old improved on that effort in the hands of Aidan Coleman and sat second in the straight behind the pacesetting Red Hot Chilly.
