Jon McCracken helps Scotland under-17 team reach next round of European Championships
 

WISHAW goalkeeper Jon McCracken helped Scotland’s under-17 team progress to the next round of the European Championships with three clean sheets.
The 16-year-old shut out Malta, Wales and Portugal as the super Scots topped their group with three wins out of three.
Scot Gemmill’s side recorded an emphatic 6-0 win over Malta before narrowly beating Wales and Portugal 1-0.
McCracken, who made the move from Hamilton Accies to Norwich City at the start of the season, believes Scotland’s desire was enough to seal their place in the next round.
