Jobs boost for cops as Derbyshire police take on new apprentices
 

Derbyshire police has offered a new jobs boost to teenagers by this week taking on 11 new apprentices.
The teens, who are aged 16 to 19, have been handed roles across the force including working with the forensics and crime support teams. Other areas their skills will be used are human resources, business and administration.
And the jobs boost comes as the force has just closed its recruitment campaign to find new bobbies to go on the beat.
Louie Spooner, 16 from Derby, is a new apprentice in the human resources department.
