Jo Konta stunned by world No 219 Fanny Stollar in round two of Volvo Car Open as she suffers straight sets loss



Jo Konta suffered a shock straight-sets defeat at the hands of world No 219 Fanny Stollar in the second round of the Volvo Car Open in Charleston.
Konta, the sixth seed, received a bye in the first round but could only win seven games as she crashed to a 6-3, 6-4 loss to the 19-year-old Hungarian.
In the process, Stollar secured her fourth successive victory on the clay in South Carolina.
