Jim Crowley says he will 'only believe it when my hands are on trophy' after landing Flat Jockeys' Championship

Standing outside the Windsor weighing room, Jim Crowley is reflecting on the season of his life when a female racegoer approaches.
She gently touches his arm and almost whispers: 'Jim, you are my favourite jockey. I will be backing you today,' before walking off hopefully to profit from the two winners her man later partners.
For a moment Crowley looks bashful before he says: 'It's been nice. People have wanted selfies and autographs. It's a nice feeling but I am not used to it.'
He needs to start being better prepared for more displays of public recognition.
