Jihadist: MI5 spies hounded me out of country into Islamic State
 

A jihadist who claimed he fled the UK in the back of a lorry because MI5 had made his life “intolerable” has been found guilty of trying to join Islamic State after a re-trial partly held in secret in the interests of “national security”.
Anas Abdalla was arrested along with Mahamuud Diini and Gabriel Rasmus when they were found hiding in a vehicle at the Kent port of Dover on April 3 last year.
