Jewellery and cash taken in multiple burglaries in Northumberland



Police are appealing for witnesses following burglaries in Seahouses, Glanton, Wooler and Rothbury.
All four incidents happened overnight on Wednesday and jewellery and cash were taken.
At 11.28pm, police received a report that a flat on Main Street, Seahouses, had been burgled. The offenders had searched the premises and stolen a safe containing jewellery and cash and left without being seen.
