JEREMY Corbyn today summoned his inner Lennon and McCartney as he urged Labour to unite behind his leadership to take on the Tories.
The Labour leader closed a tense party conference in the home of the Beatles with his passionate plea and a warning that Tory Prime Minister Theresa May could call an early election next year.
In a speech that almost entirely ignored Scotland, he called for his internal critics to end the “trench warfare” and get behind his leadership.
