Jeremy Corbyn's stance on migrant numbers questioned by Labour colleagues

Jeremy Corbyn has come under fire from within his own party after it became clear he will not commit Labour to reducing the number of migrants coming to the UK.
The Labour leader said immigrants had made a "huge contribution" to the UK and he will use his keynote conference speech to announce plans to restore a multimillion-pound fund to help local communities deal with the impact of new arrivals.
But senior Labour MPs challenged his view that there should be no efforts to curb the number of people coming to the UK.
