JD Sports Fashion posts RECORD half-year profits after demand for 'athleisure' clothing
 

Shares in the FTSE 250 retailer, which also includes Blacks, Millets and Go Outdoors, jumped 30¾p to 373½p as stores open for at least a year increased sales by 3 per cent, supported by double-digit online growth. 
Pre-tax profit was up 33 per cent to £102.7 million on 41 per cent higher revenue of £1.37 billion as the number of stores increased by 40.
