Jason Doyle's Speedway title hopes shattered after horror crash
 

The Swindon skipper was caught up in a horror crash with Coventry and Great Britain star Chris Harris in his opening lap.
Doyle, 30, started the Polish Grand Prix five points ahead of Greg Hancock but finished it in a fence with a dislocated shoulder, smashed elbow and punctured lung.
Baring a miraculous recovery he will miss his home round in Australia in three weeks.
"I can feel for Jason because I have been there,” said Hancock who now has an 11 point cushion at the top of the leaderboard after finishing second in the final behind Niels-Kristian Iversen.
