Jarrow care home deemed “inadequate”



A South Tyneside care home is to remain in special measures after healthcare watchdog rated services as “Inadequate.”
Deneside Court in Jarrow was inspected by officials from the Care Quality Commission in July following a previous visit to the 40-bed purpose-built home in March.
People are entitled to services which provide safe, effective, compassionate and high quality care. Ros Sanderson Concerns had been raised by external health and social care professionals and the police.
The home cares for adults with learning disabilities and physical and neurological disabilities.
