James Wilson returns to Manchester United with a ‘significant knee injury’
 

James Wilson’s loan spell with Derby County has been cut short after he returned to Manchester United with a knee injury.
The 20-year-old has made four appearances for the Championship club this season, while he scored for the Under-23s in their 2-2 draw with Doncaster Rovers in the Checkatrade Trophy earlier this month.
But Wilson could now be ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after suffering a serious knee injury during training.
On Tuesday evening, Derby confident that the ‘significant’ injury has forced the striker to return to Old Trafford for further assessment.
