Jaguar Land Rover to shed 260 agency staff
 

More than 260 agency staff are set to leave Jaguar Land Rover’s factory in Solihull over the coming weeks.
One employee told the Mail the workers “had no idea” they would be laid off and assumed they were being transferred to other parts of the luxury car manufacturer.
The news comes just weeks after JLR announced it was investing £100 million to transfer production of the Jaguar XE from Solihull to Castle Browmich, a move which the company said would “future proof” its base in north Birmingham.
