Jackknifed lorry on A42 causing heavy traffic
 

There is heavy congestion on the A42 after a lorry jackknifed on the road.
The incident between junction 14 to Castle Donington, and junction 13 to Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Coalville, on the A42 southbound, is causing a build-up of cars.
A tweet from Leicestershire Police said the A42 northbound will be closed at junction 13 to allow recovery work to take place.
A42 S/B long delays due to jack-knifed lorry North of Ashby. N/B will be closed at Ashby to assist recovery. Avoid A42 if possible.
