Jackie McNamara agrees to resign as York City boss if struggling side fail to get 'positive' result in next match
 

JACKIE McNAMARA has one game to save his job at York City after agreeing to resign should the Minstermen lose this coming Saturday.
McNamara's future hinges on Saturday's league trip to Braintree Town after last night's 6-1 thumping against National League bottom dogs Guiseley left York just two points above the drop zone.
And, ominously, York haven't won on their travels for 29 games.
In a bizarre agreement with the club chairman the former Dundee United and Partick Thistle boss has agreed to quit if his players don't secure a 'positive' result from the trip to Cressing Road.
