'It was embarrassingly part of my vocabulary': Stormzy issues poignant apology to the LGBQT community for using 'foul and offensive' homophobic language in resurfaced tweets



Stormzy has issued an apology on Twitter after resurfaced tweets showed him using slew of homophobic language on the social networking site.
The grime artist, 24, said the language he had used in the past was 'unacceptable and disgusting' and extended his 'deepest apologies' to the LGBQT community.
Addressing his offensive slurs, the most recent of which was posted in April 2014, Stormzy wrote: 'I said some foul and offensive things whilst tweeting years ago at a time when I was young and proudly ignorant.'
