‘It’s suspicious’ French MEP who opposes Canada trade deal is REFUSED entry to the country
 

Jose Bove branded Canada’s decision to block his entrance into the country “suspicious” after he was questioned for six hours at Trudeau airport.
The French Green parliamentarian was travelling to Canada to give a speech opposing Ottowa’s trade deal with the EU.
Spokeswoman for the event Sujata Dey said Bove “was detained at Montreal airport for hours without any explanation and he has now been notified that he must leave Canada”.
Taking to Twitter to vent his fury, Bove wrote: “Opponents of CETA are not welcome in Canada.”
