Some travellers buying currency at UK airport’s are receiving less than one euro to the pound. Yes, less than ONE euro to the pound.
Since the UK’s Brexit vote in June, the Great British Pound has dropped sharply in value.
And now the average sterling to euro rate at 17 airport bureaux de change is just 99 cents to the pound.
According to the BBC, the worst current rate is at Moneycorp Southampton Airport, who are offering just 88 cents to the pound – and the best is Change Group at Glasgow Prestwick at €1.06.
