It's exciting to step over threshold into management, says Hull City head coach Mike Phelan



Mike Phelan has set his sights on a bright future with Hull City after finally being confirmed as head coach at the KCOM Stadium.
Phelan signed a deal to become Steve Bruce's long-term successor yesterday, ending a caretaker reign that had spanned a remarkable 83 days.
The 54-year-old has been in charge of the Tigers since Bruce resigned on July 22 and soon made himself a fans' favourite during a stirring start to the campaign.
