Isaac Newton sculpture returns to Grantham park



An iconic Grantham sculpture has been refurbished and returned to its home in one of the town's parks.
Wyndham Park's Isaac Apple has been reinstalled after months of restorative work.
The sculpture was welcomed back by the Mayor of Grantham Cllr Linda Wootten, Wyndham Park Forum, SKDC and members of local Grantham history groups.
Nigel Sardeson carved the sculpture in 2010.
But earlier this year it became clear that fungus had started to grow on the sculpture.
